School of Education
Recent reports confirm that zero tolerance
policies fail to achieve desired results and
find no support for harsh discipline in schools.

the Indiana Education Policy Center at the
Indiana University School of Education,
concluded that "zero tolerance" in school
discipline is unlikely to improve student
behavior or lead to safer schools. for

Youth Drug Use Higher in US than Europe

study on teen drug use in Europe vs. the US,
conducted under the auspices of WHO and reported
on in the Times, found that teenage drug use is
higher in U.S. than in Europe.
